Saddle up for a memorable 8-day horse riding holiday with 6 days of scenic guided rides. Stay in one cozy spot throughout—no need to repack each day, just relax and enjoy the ride. There are no fixed dates for this horsey adventure, and no minimum number of participants required. You'll be matched with others of a similar riding level.
Our experienced guides will ensure a safe and enriching adventure. The rides are varied and allow you to explore picturesque landscapes, with beach rides as a true highlight. With 20 hours in the saddle, this experience is ideal for confident intermediate riders - able to control a horse at walk and trot in the outdoors - and for advanced riders who will definitely enjoy some lovely gallops (in separate groups).
We deliberately opt for self-catering accommodations, giving you the freedom to dine where and when you like—whether it’s a taverna meal or a fresh pastry from the local bakery. Expect to spend around €35 per day on food. Enjoy the taste, the freedom, and support local businesses while soaking in everything this beautiful island has to offer.
Anyone who wishes to stay at a specific hotel can simply book the riding package only, at 640 Euro per person.

1 relaxing day trip with lunch included
This full-day trip (approx. 5.5 hours in the saddle plus breaks) is a delightful blend of wooded countryside, traditional villages, and a journey back in time. We ride to the evergreen spring village of Argiroupolis. While the horses rest and enjoy their lunch under the trees, you’ll dine in a nearby taverna by the little waterfalls. There’s plenty of time for a peaceful stroll in this lush village, known for its springs, ancient mills, avocados, and local products. We’ll also visit the Chapel of the Five Virgins, the archaeological site nearby, and the impressive 2000-year-old plane tree.

4 beautiful mini-safaris (+/-2.5 hours)
One of the highlights is the "Cool Ride" - an 8.5 km beach ride, followed by swimming with horses. Embrace yourself for a new sensation and experience the unique sensation of floating on a swimming horse! An absolutely unique feeling! An early morning departure ensures an empty beach and gentle sunshine, perfect riding conditions, which we will fully exploit. We ride to the sea on saddled horses and then go bareback into the water for a refreshing swim—a magical, unforgettable experience for both horse and rider. After drying off, we saddle up again and return home.
The second mini-safari takes you to the colorful Lake Kournas. A perfect ride for nature lovers, this trail leads through unspoiled countryside, dirt roads, and olive groves. We ascend towards the village of Kournas and descend with panoramic views of the lake’s turquoise waters and surrounding mountains. A short break at the lake offers a great moment to take it all in. (Soft-drink included)
The third ride explores the wooded terrain near Kournas. Ideal for experienced outdoor riders, this 2+ hour trail offers shaded paths, traditional scenery, and a taste of timeless Crete. Ride through stunning landscapes at 200 meters altitude, nestled in the foothills of Mount Dafnomadara.
Your fourth hack is a dream: ""The Hidden Trail". This 2-hour ride offers sweeping views of Mount Psiloritis, the White Mountains, and the sea. Designed for experienced riders who enjoy a more dynamic trail, it features long stretches ideal for trotting and cantering, with 90% of the ride on off-road tracks through pristine nature. One of our absolute best!

Along a long, sandy beach, intoxicated by the smell of freedom, you’ll ride in perfect harmony with your horse. Who said you need wings to fly? Choose between a smooth early morning ride or a romantic sunset ride—both guaranteed to stay with you forever.

The flight is not included.
The transfer from Chania airport or Souda harbour to and from your hotel is included.
Transfers from Heraklion are subjected to a 60,- € surplus per person (both ways included).
